We Can’t Blame God Or Others For Our Lives

In truth, nothing & no one can hurt us or hinder us on our spiritual journey; and we have nobody to blame for the state of our lives, except ourselves. It is our attitudes, our choices, and our reactions that bring us trouble and cause us pain. And it is our feelings & reactions to things and others that hinder us because it is our feelings & reactions which bother us, not the things or people themselves.

So, blaming anyone or anything for our sufferings and obstacles is irrational. Only those ignorant of spiritual & universal law will blame others for their misfortunes, sufferings, and lack of any spiritual progress. The spiritual person sees with true eyes and blames only his/herself for what they encounter. They understand the truth that it is their own choices & decisions which are bringing consequences upon them. And they know that everything is really neutral; it is our thoughts, perceptions, and responses to experiences that make things either good or bad. So, while the spiritual person knows that they can’t choose what specific external consequences will come their way, they do know that they can choose how they respond & react to such consequences.

The spiritually wise person understands that it is not God or any person who bestows blessings or curses (good or bad consequences) upon them. For, we live in a world of cause & effect; “every action has a reaction” & “we must reap what we sow.” The law is simple; it does not change, & it can’t be avoided.

The spiritually wise understand that it is the choices made in the present moment that determines the future consequences that must be faced.

Therefore, we must begin to take full responsibility for our actions. And before we ever decide to take action it is always a good idea to contemplate the consequences that may occur. For, the more aware we becomes of our actions, the more work we do upon ourselves, the less we will be swept away by stormy emotional reactions to things that comes at us in life.

Also, learn to see the futility in any finger-pointing; and place any blame were it rightfully Cause & effect, We reap what we showbelongs. We need to fully realize that the only thing we have control over is our chioces and our attitude and responses towards the consequences of those chioces. If we can begin to see things clearly & from a more spiritual perspective, taking full-responsibility for all our thoughts, words, actions, and decisions, we will make much greater progress in our spiritual development and begin to live happier lives.

God bless & remember to always – Heed the Spirit,

Anthony.
